Description


The subjects of this picture were pieces of driftwood, roots, etc., arranged pretty much as they appear here. The scenery is invented, including the tree trunk on the left. I was trying a couple of things here (besides just drawing the wood): an impressionistic technique for the water, and using various elements of the picture to draw the eye to the tall stump in the middle. Oh--this one has color!!!! You did a wonderful job of showing depth!! I like the treeline in the background!!! Excellent drawing!!!

Wow, this soft coloring really fits the image. Really nice depth and natural "sculptures" that you have captured here for eternity. Exlt drawing here!
