Description
Hi folks - here it is, my first ever animation. This is inspired by Chris (Kitchaos) and his work with MBF and previously, his work with animating Celtic knotwork.
(I couldn't think of a better title but I fly kites and it looks like the things that are wind-driven)

Very nice, but it moves a bit too fast for me.

Indeed it moves very fast, but the overall idea is great! Perfect design to animate in this way!

Margaret, this is a real jewel! That it is your first makes it the more amazing. The rotation of the pinwheel petals and the twinkling of the star are timed perfectly and give a pleasant visual sensation of restful harmony (rather than the overly fast paced headache producers found in most short animations). As well, I am really impressed by: the large, comfortable viewings size; the excellent definition (resolution); the complementary gradation of colors in the petals that lends graceful smoothness to the imagery as the pinwheel rotates and the excellent timing which brings it all together as a smooth visual presentation. This is an outstanding animation, one of the finest I've seen posted here, bar none! VOTE
