BIOI am an IT specialist by profession, but my hobby (besides computers) has always been photography. I have been interested in this since early childhood, starting off with instant cameras and graduating to SLR's and recently a SLR lookalike. My first SLR was a Minolta X300 and then a Minolta Dynax 404i. My first digital was a Fuji S5000 DSLR-like camera, but nowdays I use a Canon EOS 350D with an 18-55 and 75-300 with a Speedlite 420EX (which is very handy for doing weddings). I don't profess to be any good at photography and have no experience with studio work. I do however like outdoors and scenery and have been asked to do a couple of weddings before, which came out well. The best people pictures I take are those where the person does not pose and are caught almost unawares.
I love the outdoors and camping and go fairly regularly and take my mountain bike with. My friends and I go mostly to nature reserves.

Cool. That tent on the left looks a bit hot, too. Nice one, from the look of it, but looks like it would be suited to alpine camping in the fall/winter. Glad you had fun. Camping's great.

The luminous yellow tent is an extreme tent. Good in most kinds of weather ... hot, cold and wind. The dry river bed is just behind the treeline but there is water on tap (undrinkable) from a borehole for most uses. The water in the ablution facilities is drinkable but very salty, so we brought our own.
