now that my dad is retired
I see him so differently
each day I see a new quality
that had always gone hidden from my childhood
now he loves to roam
roaming to all the markets
looking for a wonderful find
amist all the junk
unlike when I was younger
when my daddy worked..
and my mom always shopped for us kids
my dad now will surprise me
with one of his lil special finds
and here is one of his sweet gifts
a lil pitcher he found in a junk store
but no matter what it cost
it is priceless to me
