Updated! Merry Christmas everyone. I've entitled this one 'The true meaning of Christmas' (though I may change the name later) because it embodies what Christmas was all about. In so many pictures and other Christmas imagery we see baby Jesus being held up by Mary. While this far from being wrong and I'm not at all saying that I think there should not be such imagery out there, we should bare in mind that the reason Jesus came was not to be held up by humanity, but to hold up humanity Himself. I put this in the WIP section because something is off about it. Either the lighting or the angle, but something is definately wrong. P.S. It has also occured to me that certain people may believe that this piece is an attack of some sort on Christmas, or just an attack in general. This piece is NOT an attack on anything. Nor is this piece meant to offend anyone. It's simply meant to be an unique outlook on a beloved season of the year.
