Glad you stopped by.BIOHere I am, a wife of 53 years ((yikes)) to a great guy, Al, a mother of two terrific kids, Lynn and Allen Jr. and a granny of two wonderful little ones. Cassandra age 21 and Joseph age 16. I started to use poser, although reluctantly, in the beginning of 2004. A dear friend of mine, Stephanie Baker Thomas, encouraged me to give it a try. Well it's safe to say I am hooked looking at the many gigs in my poser library, lol! I used 2-d program, Photo Impact for many years and now use it to edit all my poser images. I have met so many great people here at Renderosity that have become terrific friends. I thank you all for your encouraging remarks. You make this a great place to hang out, big hugz!

Excellent image and a wonderful thought. But they are not in Iraq fighting for our way of life. I wish it were that, then I could feel pround instead of so sad. I pray for all the men and women over in Iraq, both the soliders and civilians. War is a terrible and dark thing no matter what side you are on. I love the angel and composition of the piece. Excellent work!

Fantastic dedication for all our troops! We saw Chris' parents ( he was injured in Iraq) last weekend and he is doing well...he is going to spend the remainder of his tour in South Carolina. This is a wonderful image and tribute to our soldiers. Hugs!

Sensational work my dear!!Many people just shun the 'needed' work our guys do for the sake of 'all mankind'!((Or thats what Ive been led to belive)).Many people have idea's put on them which decides there outlook on it all but if you look at whats really happening then how could you not support them. They are not going around killing ppl like all out warfare, they are trying as they see it, to help.People that hang a four year old girl for recieving sweets from a peace keeping solider need to be removed from this planet.I feel sick..Love ya Dawnie and this render is of a high touching quality!!Hugs bye calum

It has been said already but my thoughts are the same - no matter what they are there for or why they are there they do need our prayers and thoughts not just the americans but all that are there in this war - American, Australian, British,Iraqi - they are not nationalities they are people and our thoughts should be for all people :o) you did a wonderful thing here not just in your image but in your thoughts that were behind it. Whether or not this should be happening is for each to decide but happening it is. This is not a perfect world and it is always the innocent that suffer soldier and civilian alike thank you Dawn for making us think and feel vote Chris :o)

War is indeed an incredibly ugly monster of a thing. The reasons for going on this on may have ended up being complete crap, but that is actually the CIA's fault, not Bush's. In any case, just think of all the Iraqis we have made happy by the removal of Saddam. A great image for the soldiers. P.S. Donate to the Fisher House. This organization helps wounded soldiers recover and lets their families visit them, it's a big help.

I hope that the angels do watch over them.

I've had this image as one of my favourites for quite some time, It's a Constant Reminder that My husband is over seas Risking his life , putting his " father" and " husband " life on hold just so he can do his job and Return Home to Us. When I see this image it calms me because I do believe that he and the Rest of the soldiers have a guardian angel and I pray for their Safe Return back home. I am not proud of the innocent lives lost over seas here and every where around, But I am proud to say that my husband is a soldier and the Greatest Man I've Ever had the pleasure of knowing. Bless you all. and thank you so much for this kind and Caring Image to little unknown people like me it means a lot. ((((((((((Hugs))))))))))))))
