My baby...luv my Jeep 4x4. Do I take it rock-crawling and off-roading? Hell no... No way, no how...... Â
I have been working with 3D digital programs for about 6 years time. My first experiences with the world of 3D digital art were Terragen and a terrain generator program called World Machine. After learning Terragen, I moved on to Bryce where my major interest in creating landscapes, SciFi and interior space renderings now lies.
Other programs which I experiment with and use are Vue7, Apophysis and Incendia. Postwork tools I usually use for enhancing the original renders are PSP Pro X, PhotoScape 3.3, Paint.Net, MGI PhotoSuite and FastStone Image Maker. Occassionally I also enjoy taking photos with my Nikon S52 Digital camera. Here at Renderosity you will find works of mine using all of these mediums.
As an artisan, I have always had a deep love and respect for architecture, especially modern and future design development. You will see that reflected in some of the 3D renderings here in my gallery.
Originally, I'm a Northeastern United States native (anthracite coal region)....half Welsh, half Bavarian in ancestry.... and live some 1,400 feet (about 475 metres) above sea level in the Appalachian mountain chain along with my Shih-Tzu, Max and my cat, London. However, I prefer the lure of the beach and ocean and especially love the Chesapeake Bay region of the East Coast. Â
Take a few minutes to look thru my gallery and leave a comment or two if you like. Everyone here at Renderosity is unique in their work and individual abilities.  Personally speaking, I have been blessed with the friends I have made from around the world and for being a part of this community for the past 5 years. Surface, lighting, clouds and water are terrific. Two areas I'm not sure about though: There is a smeared and pointed area in the midground on the right hand landmass across the river (above your last name and in the middle of the frame). There is also a straight cut in the farthest mountain on the right, about an inch in from the right hand edge. Looks like something went screwy in the render or nothing was there. I'm sorry I don't know enough about terragen to know what the problem might be, but those two areas look "off" somehow. HTH

Nice pov - dunno what happened to that cut ridge: it does look a little funny. Nice mood and surface (but try less bump)

Wonderfull surface and water. Like that cut on the right hand side very much. Good lighting!

Just a note about that mysterious 'cut' which appears in the upper right quadrant. This phenomenon seems to appear when I modify the terrain with perlin noise or multi-perlin. I used this to full advantage in my render a few months back titled "The Soul's Passageway." Sometimes I allow it to remain in the render, other times I alter the POV slightly to eliminate it from showing up.
