Description

I thought, the cheery rose seemed to float amidst the melancholy background of deepening winter. -*- This is a shot from inside the Ferry Plaza last Saturday. The local flowers are just germinating for next spring, but there are succulents and eucalyptus in profusion. I'm already hungry for another good artichoke, asparagus, oysters, crab, champagne, a carmelized onion+truffle+potato tart +rich beefstock reduction. If you can obtain that stuff and look at this, you will understand, ...urp! -*- Thanks for viewing! Jim, really nice feel here. The texture of the flower petals adds depth, while the contrast of the magenta, white, and green strikes at a primal archetypal notion. Beautiful, congrats!

Ok I am hungry right now after reading your notes. Just take out the Oysters...lol I love the white of the roses against the reds and greens of the other flowers. Excellent style, I like it enough that I bought Painter, now just to figure out how to tweak my photos..lol Excellent work!
