Description
Imagine for one moment that you're an eighteen-year-old young man, hidden away on a farm between Hastings and Omaha, Nebraska. You and your buddies formed a alternative country garage band when you were freshmen in high school, following the likes of Wilco, Steve Earle and Gram Parsons. It's been said you have a voice that is as sweet and high as Appalachian pines; a voice destined for greatness if not for being buried in the cornfields of Nebraska.
Then one day your mother rescues a collapsed country star by the side of a county road, and after that things never are quite the same. Despite his fame, you don't get the instant push, but are made, with your buddies, to pay your dues in the honky-tonk bars near Knoxville, Tennessee where you attend college...
The above artwork is likely the only entire piece of fiction to come out of my fan-fiction series.

Awesome job! I like the monochromatic feel of this image. Unlike the others, lol, I'll just take the one in the center where you can't see his eyes, I like a little mystery!
