Description

Ehh.. not exactly thrilled with the way this one turned out, but I guess I just sorta petered out on it and got tired of mucking around with it. So now I get to inflict it upon all of you, because Im all about sharing the love. :) Based off the photographic work of Kropot and again used with kind permission. The original work can be found here http://www.kropot.nl/archeon/image29_std.jpg Painter 8 > Fine Oils and >Feather oiles. original canvas size 1696X3446X300ppi.. a tiny for me this time :)

This is the first post of yours I've seen (I'm new) But I feel quite sure that the important word in what you are feeling is "tired" - you're just tired, because this is really wonderful. I looked at the original photo. Worlds apart. Universes. I use Painter 8 too (mostly airbrushes) Just trust me on this, okay? I'll have to look at your gallery and if you always paint like this, I swear, I'm outta here!

Not so sure what you are unhappy about this looks execellent to me, maybe a little soft if anything, but that works very well with this Lady. In my humble opinion this is a Execellent work of art......V....John

i agree its great. there arent many aspects of it you can improve on, although there is always little things that you wont be able to see simply by looking at it, ull have to analyse it. and for me it looks just great. its like you know when people go to listen to opera and all types of music, if they dont playa na instrument and dont exactly know this particular piece, they wont even notice when the artist makes a mistake and plays a different note, it will be just as good to them. im like that with computer art. im sure someone who does this all the time will be able to point out some flaws, but to me as i said this looks very good. keep posting. :D

Looks like a Ver Meer, very nice. Although it looks like you squashed the picture a little, the head looks a little misshapen. But your painting style is very good.
