I am a visual artist and have know I was since I was three years old. The family is a four generation of artists, on the female side. My mediums over the years have been, pencil, ink, casein, oil, and acrylic. Also, some 3D sculptures along the way. Now I work with digital art.
Teaching art to adults was very interesting to me. I maintained two studios, one in a loft downtown and one at home. Unfortunately the downtown building became too old and was demolished in 2008; my residence there was over 30 years. My home studio has been reorganized to be the computer room. I am very pleased to post in Renderosity.

Very vivid. The symmetry is just askew enough to give a kaleidoscope twist witout falling into sectors of repetition. The cilia-like fringe could propell it like an amoeba.

I felt like it was an amoeba when viewed in other colors. But, held out for these vivid blues and greens. :)

There seems to be a space theme today, maybe it's something to do wiht the moon. Cool looking work, it does appear to be a space amoeba drifting toward Earth. Maybe by the time it gets here there will be billions of them.
