[Poser and Bryce]....Cant seem to get the water to look good in Bryce....Lighting and reflections, type of sky..all affect the water...giving me a hard time..

i think the water reflect look all right and the scene is set well. i've only used bryce a bit, but i know what you mean. i think (prob wrong!)that bryce handles the water reflections on it's own without you having to do anything much, so it might be a matter of changing the other variable - the sky. it will probably be hard to get it exactly as YOU envision, though. i'm, not a very good source of info,though ;-) good luck mate!

I think the problem with your water can be solved by going into the materials editor and ramping up the texture frequency. It's simply a question of scale,as human beings we estimate the size of what's around us by comparing it to the size of ourselves,compared to the size of your fisherman there the ripples are giants,make them a lot smaller, it should solve your problem
