After a break I be back on Renderosity to show new captures in my gallery.
I live in Germany in a city what I hate. So I use every possibility to get into nature in which I love to hike and capture landscapes and nature moods.
Mostly I visited Scotland, Norway, Swizzerland and Faroer Islands and I try to bring you close to the special charme of each country.
Hope we see us in the galleries and think around corners 😉

Great image! The little house gives it the perfect perspective of depth and size. Very well done.

Awesome landscape! sigh Very beautiful shot of this wonderful mountains! It's good to have people on your side who know what you can do and what you can't do. That might be reassuring. Excellent work!

Woo Hooo The Buachaille, you've found it at last. The house is called Lagangarhb, and is owned by the Scottish Mountaineering Club (SMC). I stayed there as a guest for a weekend last month. You wouldn't think it from the outside, but its really quite nice inside. I hope I didn't make you too angry, and yes you were right not to go up it if you were in doubt. The path you took to the left eventually leads to the bottom of the "curved ridge" which is a difficult scramble to the top of Stob Dearg and is very exposed in places. The main path which runs up Coire na Tulaich does get steep and loose at the top of the gully before getting onto the ridge, but the effort is worth while once you are up there, especially on a day like this. Perhaps if you come to Scotland again I could show you the way up its not nearly as bad as it looks. P.S. I get vertigo sometimes but have had plenty of practice in overcoming it....I just shut my eyes and jump!!!!!(joke) Lovely picture again, I like this view of the Buachaille, lovely stuff.

I know that fear, Rita, when, for instance you've come to a point on an exposed ledge and the next few feet look a bit dodgy. That's part of the thrill, I guess. Etive Mor does look deceptively benign. Great shot of this famous landmark.

Lovely landscape. I like the little house in the foreground. It gives a perspective to the size of the hill. Well done, Rita!

Cool mountain! And a neat sense of distance with the church in the mid-ground. I also like the way the road cuts at an angle. Excellent shot composition. Hmm, I'd go up the draw to the right and then egress left along the ridge to the summit.....20 years ago! lol

I'm with you Rita, nothing would get me up that mountain lol. Please be careful, if you are not confident in your climbing abilities, best not to take the chance. The textures/colours on the flat land is exquisite...love the lone house, adds a real sense of how huge these landforms are. A stunning compo, perfect time of day for this shot. Love it =)

I can look at it for hours and not tire. It inspires the mind to create, refelcting in its beauty and charm. I am sure a gifted writer could spun a few short stories from looking at this magnificent photograph, while an aritst would ahve no problems in rendering the beauty.
