Description

Early morning fog blankets the flat plaines of 'Monument Valley' in late autumn. In the foreground lies the left 'Mitten' landform. Sparse patches of blue/green sagebrush cover the desert floor. The border that divides the state of Utah in the north from the state of Arizona to the south runs through this famous Navajo Land. This image was created using a 1025 DEM file which was 'terraced' in TF2; and, stretched vertically by 133% in Terragen. The image was then rendered at 4000 x 3000; and, resized and sharpened in IrfanView. Thanks for visiting; and, for your comments and suggestions. Enjoy!

Haze and sky are wonderful. Like the view! Colors on the ground are a little odd, maybe, but I like the effect. EXCellent

This haze give a feeling of a very, very hot desert, with a large dust, and some storm coming from the east. Superb!
