Startling resemblance. A crit thou....both his shirt, and hat, don't quite seem to be connected to him. I think it's the shadowing (or lack of). Maybe try turning the shadow bias right down. I think his eyes look good. For the glossy look, have you tried just attaching a glossy node to the eyewhite and cornea materials? (Turn default spec off, and turn spec of pupil and iris off too).
