Description

Over my lifetime, I've read stories and seen movies with cautionary messages about what we are doing to the earth and atmospere with industrial pollution and human excesses. Countless authors and artists have given depictions of a barren world that we ruin ourselves. This particular planet used to be home to a thriving industrialized civilization, where progress followed it's will without much attention to the fact that the inhabitants were "dirtying the nest" so to speak. Acid rain proved to be the undoing of all things here- rain so corrosive that it eventually rendered the place un-inhabitable. But, there's a silver lining here- after several centuries, space travelers now visit the place to take in the bizarre formations- kind of a "Monument Valley" for off-world tourists. Terragen, Lunarcell, Photo Shop with various filters. I sincerely hope your week was better than mine- thanks for looking, and leave a comment if you like.

Very thought provoking. Perhaps that is the way it started here; as they say: "what goes around; comes around"! Your creation is excellent. From the sky/lighting and atmosphere, to the terrain and it's colors and surfaces. You've done a lot of work here; and, it is excellent!

Wow! Powerful message here. I don't know when I have seen so many variances in lighting and atmosphere, and shades and textures. This is awesome. I don't know much about Terregen, I have played with it some. I DO know that it isn't easy, and you have done an absolutely incredible job. I love the light play through the "stalks".

Sorry to here that You had a bad week. This is just a wonderful work of art.The terrain is excellent (is it one of Your?) Pov is great.But for me its the lighting and atmo.that set this hole thing off.Hope the days ahead are better for You.Sorry I did not mean to write a book.
