Description

For centuries, these sail boats, called the fellucas, have been the common mode of transport for the public living near the banks of the river. The fellucas are graceful and add charm to the Nile traffic. TAKE YOUR PICK

I like the colour one.Reflections of sails is a huge plus. Actually both are good, depending on the use.The sepia one could be a bit darker mind you. But love the trees in the colour one. well now I 'm confused.E

The tinted photo suggests history and tradition but there is more of a sense of how the light and air must look in Egypt in the color photo. More atmosphere. One of the best things about Renderosity is seeing bits of others' lives from around the world. I will never get to see the Nile myself so thank you for sharing your work.

Very interesting subject, and look at those crazy trees in the background! The wrinkles in the curved sails add attractive detail. The tinted version brings to mind the photos I love from old National Geographic magazines. A high contrast version, where those background leaves are emphasized, might also be worth trying.
