Description

Ultra Fractal --- Where would we be without the formula writers?! There are more formulae on my hard drive than I will ever be able to explore in a lifetime. Yet I am constantly amazed at the new and wonderful formulae, coloring ucl's and transforms that are generously provided for us each month. Some are extremely complex and have a myriad of parameters to choose from. And when looking at the text that makes them up, it is mind boggling to me that anyone could go to all the time and trouble to write and design, test and improve, and provide these for us, free of charge. I have no interest in learning this difficult craft, never have, never will. I am more than delighted to explore what others have written for ultra fractal. Among my favorites are those written by Andreas Lober. I find myself going back to them again and again. So thanks to you Andreas, and all the formula writers for your hard work and long hours to provide us with hours and hours of pure-dee fun!! We couldn't do a thing without you!! And Andreas, please have some lebkucken for me this next week, chocolate covered, please. I will not be able to have any this christmas and I will miss that. :)) --- Thanks for stopping by, and thanks for your views and comments! :) Maria

I agree, Maria ;) Without the creativity of the formula writers, we'd be pretty lost! This is a beautiful swirl of an image, with a lovely central flower and cozy warm colors. And I'm for chocolate covered anything:)

Maria, this is a very kind dedication! Thank you very very much! I know that not all of my code work is usable for everyone, that my documentation and help files are missing or in a bad or outdated state. The more I am happy when people like to try out my stuff and can have fun with it. Or moreover - create very nice images with it. Now you must tell me why you cannot eat "Lebkuchen" with chocolate this year...

Gorgeous image. If I'm not mistaken he likes symmetry in the images, so this is right for him. Well done.

Beautiful and a wonderful dedi to Andreas and other formula writers. UF would be nothing without them. Fractal art is rich and wonderful because of them as well as the artists who put their formulas to work in their own particular style.

Oh how beautiful..and so dynamic! Love everything about it, Maria; awesome design, detail, colors and texture. And, I'm with you; second everything you write re formula writers. I love Andreas' coloring algorithms, too, and he's very deserving of this wonderful tribute, IMO! The formula writes are all so great. Just recently I've begun exploring several formulas I hadn't tried before. Awesome possibilities in UF..and ALL due to the talented and skilled formula, coloring algorithm and mapping authors. KUDOS to each of them and a Bravo for you!

Stunning! A lovely image and wonderful dedication. I agree, I could never begin to write a formula that would do more than make a mud pie, so without those wonderful mathmaticly gifted artists (mathemagicians?) I would not have this creative outlet. When there is a new formula presented, I feel like I've just gotten an amazing gift.
