Very crisp shadow. Good start, for what it is (I won't comment on angles or composition, since that's not what you're working on here). How many lights did you use? The shadow looks like ther is just one light source, but everythinng else is illuminated properly. Well done.

Some good dark humor here. . .reminds me of a Charles Adams cartoon. The render and characters aren't the point of this image-- why not try Poser's (very good) sketch render engine? A sketch render plus a little balloon with the text accords better with the point of this piece.
