Description

A misty swamp world wich a bit of altercation over who wants to eat what. Credits Jonathan Lynn for the great little Drak figure. Stephen Ray for his Cootie figure. I actually totaly rebuilt this little insect as the original was extremely poly heavy. But his original figure was the insperation. I like him.

Other than suggesting a bit of motion blur on some of the wings, this is one awesome image - very strong work; excellent.

Very good scene ! How you modelled those plants ? Only one suggestion concerning light - Light seems to no cas shadows here (could be in case of very foggy scenery) but in such case shadows on objects are much too contrasted. Especially on rocks - consider using several light sources.

Thanks all for your comments. ZBrush2 was used for the more exotic plants. THe little flyer with the hang-glider like wings was made in Wings3d using Stephen Ray's figure as insperation. On the lighting issue, I think I possibly used too many lights with cast shadows enabled, thus causing inconsistancies. Truth is I cant quite remember, I did it a while ago. Certainly if I did it again Id tone down the light on the RHS front plant.
