Description
Well I went out today looking for things to take pics of. I saw this Spanish Moss (Tillandsia usneoides) on one of the small Japanesse Maples in the front yard. Its really a pretty thing to see in large trees,and it can get really long,and unlike what most think,its not a parasite. It gets it moisture and food from the air,it only uses the trees to live in,like an orchid does. By the way,that color is cause of how close I was to the mass, its not had any color change, its supposed to have a sorta green tinge to a living one. The grey ones you see in stores are dead. The first time I saw Spanish Moss was in Florida and it is impressive hanging from the trees. Thanks for the info,don't remember it as being such a lovely shade of green. Excellent macro!!
