Description
Original Model from http://scifi3d.theforce.net/
by Iven Connery & textures by Sebastian Hirsch (Mojo) ~Thanks so much for an awesome model guys~
I had to do a bit of conversion for Cinema4D, since it was a 3DS format. Remapped textures and created a whole new texture for the engine and added dirt and engine glow.
This is also a 1024x768 Wallpaper if you'd like it.
Rendered with Cinema 4DXL v.9

very cool..I'd certainly work some more on the thrusters texture..I imagine it as more of a blast of light..rather than the grid pattern you have...the grime on the hull is very well done

Actually if you look at http://www.starshipmodeler.com/starwars/rm_falcon.htm they show a grid. This I believe was the detail they added in Star Wars ANH SE which shows a grill in the Millenium Falcon engine when it blasts off from Mos Eisely. That grill look was the look I was going for. I could do a brighter glow but I wanted this to be a slow cruising speed for the Falcon and the thrust glow wouldnt be as bright - similar to thrust glow on After burning jet engines in MIL setting or just barely AB setting. The glow is there but you can see detail too. In reality the grid wouldnt be a texture like I have it but actually built into the back like the models show. I'll try doing that next time around :) Thanks for the comments :)

Nice texturing and POV...good work! (It's the Millennium Falcon by the way, not Millenium!)
