Description

Sheesh! If anyone gets the prize for not being the "brightest bulb on the tree", it's me. I've been creating Vue images for 2 years. I have three versions of the program, Vue 4, Pro and 5, so you'd think I'd know all the ins and outs of them. But, NOOOOooooo! For this one I wanted a decent moon and looked everywhere on the web for a texture I could use to map on a sphere that I would place in the sky. After hours of searching and finding nothing, and complaining and tearing out of hair, Tish happened by and said, "Why don't you just push the Planet button?" Huh?? I had absolutely no idea that a planet button existed. Nope. Never once asked myself what that funny looking icon was under the rock. Grrrr. Well thanks to my daughter, this one was created with no post-work. All was done in Vue 5 including the stars, smoke and writing. It tool 11 minutes to render in ultra and only oomed 5 times. ;-) EVERYONE HAVE A WONDERFUL HOLIDAY!!! Oh how beautiful Linda! This is an absolutely perfect composition. I could easily see this on a store shelf, but only briefly before it sold out :-). Oh, and don't worry, we all have gaps in our knowledge somewhere. I still haven't found that long roumored "Make my image perfect" button ;-).

LOL! Well, it wouldn't be the same without that perfect moon. I'd say you and Tish can share in the creation of this wonderful card. It's really lovely, with a kind of old fashioned look. Hope you have a fantastic holiday. Hugs to you and your family. :o) CC
