Some wise men see a great big Star
And follow it from land afar,
It stopped over barn in Bethlehem,
No room was it the in for them,
They gave him gifts that made minds stir
Gold and Frankinsence and Myrrh.
Oh baby Christ in manger meek,
A kind of love the world doth seek,
let thoughts about race, envy and greed,
From every single heart be freed.
Man could still live with man I say.
Just think each day is Christmas day.
The above are two verses from a song I worte over 30 years ago, and performed by the Emerald Community singers.
