Description

The next in a series of render from a novel I wrote years ago. Here, Adrea (after being ambushed)is lead to the Keepers Tower. Tower and building modeled by me in 3ds, Poser characters with some customization of textures. Rendered in Bryce 5. Really working hard toward what I think of cinematic realism. Hope you like, comments and suggestions welcome. Thakns for viewing

Since your goal is "cinematic realism", I'll make a few comments, feel free to use them or discard. For me, the most unsettling aspect is the composition. Two guys, one could be shorter or walking up a ramp but the ground plane appears fairly flat so whether you meant to or not the lead bearer looks like his feet might be underground. Likewise the girl should be completely visible, not cutting off her bottom. Easy on her bump as her pants look geological. I like the work you did on making her feet look dirty. Given the strong light coming from screen right I thought there should be stronger shadows cast to the left, most of all from the tower. Don't mean to be overly critical but you seemed up for it. Good Luck.
