Description

Ultra Fractal I couldn't come up with a good name for this one. The shapes and lights all seem to be gathering around a central point and for some reason the old church hymn "We Gather Together" came to mind. I've been distressed by the sad news that we cannot gather together at christmas parties, school plays, decorations on the court house square, and many other places this year and be able to see a nativity set or a sweet child dressed up as one of the shepherds. I've never seen a christmas like this one, where everywhere they are trying to take Christ out of Christmas. To me that should be foremost, but now it's all commercial and political. At least I can still say "Merry Christmas" to you and yours and God Bless You, now and in the future. Sorry, just my own views, I mean no offense to anyone. I happen to agree with you. It's like that around where I live too. They've changed all names that begin with "Christmas" and put December or Holidays or something else in place. It's very disconcerting. Your work, however is absolutely BEAUTIFUL and I can't wait to open the link when I get the ebot messages that you've uploaded!!! Maria I love your exquisite and heartwarming image . Take my advice and don`t let them drive you in a corner ,stand together in what you believe in and speak freely .I find those signs very frightening .I live in Israel and the same thing has happened in the past to our people .But never shall we let that happen again .

Lovely image. I love how the sphere is so sofly nestled in the spiral arms. This is a very symbolic image. May the Lord will hold you in his arms and make this a wonderful Christmas.

Unfortunately, you're right about todays Christmas... but all we can do is to keep those special feelings to it and traditions in ours families. BTW, as always you gave us so beautiful colors :)) You're the true Mistress of colors! :)

Bravo Maria for speaking out... Glad to hear there are so many artist still in favor of the traditional real meaning of CHRISTMAS. I will sing my heart out for you at midnight on the 25th when our choir of 45 people will celebrate the birth of Jesus.. YOur image speaks of your emotions and that is why it is always so wonderful.
