Description

I wanted to challenge myself to see if I could create a worthwhile image while using Coral Painter's image hose. Used Bryce 5, Terragen, Painter 8, and Photoshop CS. P.S. some of you may recognize the pre-Painter version from etomchek's background contest. If you do, you may remember the picture being under dumbpirate's name. That's because I upload the picture at my friends house and fogot to change to my login first. Oh well, it didn't win anyway.

PoV and terrain look great, so does the surface. I like the impressionistic postwork on the render. The flowers in the foreground look beautiful for themselves but in my opinion they are too eyecatching and give the image some imbalance. The middle clouds above the mountain have some pointy artefacts you should get rid off. Overall some good work. Looking forward to see more.
