Description
Had lots of fun with the terrain editor and deep textures. Originally meant for a snowey mountain scene, I overdid a filter in the terrain editor and liked what happened.

Whoa, originally though it was the infamous "Whole Mountain" texture. Nice job!

It started with a modification of one of the stock materials. Then using the "ABC mode" method I added and tweeked other materials. The textures are BlackWhite24, Barnecles and Greystone (all modified). The terrain object is in "Planetary" resolution however, I switch between high and low resolutions when using the filters to get certain effects. A few of the jutting rocks are lattice objects and others are part of the main (single) terrain created by using the "mounds" filter.
