This is soooo AWESOME! I love that the main object is the "Mage" and that she is totally coordinated! The pose is powerful and perfect! I love the clothing..the writing on the skirt is sooo mysterious. Her personality is DA BOMB! A librarian style haircut and specs. Kind of reminds me of a Female Harry Potter! SUPER

Very dramatic lighting, especially on her face: the thumbnail is very eyecatching and is what drew me to this picture. I think a more dynamic background (and maybe more flutter in the clothes) would do more to convey a feeling of power emanating from the rod's blast. Also, the cirular background light from the beam doesn't seem very realistic.
