Description

Many, many years ago, with my first home-built computer and when I had just started working in computer graphics, I created these clips with Photoshop 3 and KPT. My ex was in the military at the time, stationed at Ft Polk, Louisiana. Ft Polk is located in the poorest parish (county) in the nation, our spouses were training in the field 3 of 4 weeks a month, and there was not much in the area to do for excitement. So, many a day was spent in my office with neighboring friends as they watched in awe all the cool things that could be done on a PC with Photoshop. I took these individual clips to the Arts and Crafts shop on base where we could do sublimation. My gifts to my friends that year were mugs with these clips. They still have the mugs and each year at this time, they bring back tons of great memories for us all. Individually, each is 8.5 x 3.3 inches. If you would like to make your own holiday mugs, feel free (with no modifications other than size, rotation, flipping, please).... My gift to my new friends at Renderosity. :) Happy Holidays to you all! Diane

as a resident of vernon parish, i can only agree about the "poorest" part, & how pc's provide a good portion of the entertainment available. great images. btw, it's good to hear from someone who has "gotten out" of this parish... ;)
