Description

Our planetary scans of Floris System have uncovered an event of planetary size. Our scientists have projected that the asteroids' orbit is decaying and will eventually impact with the Floris III in about 655 years. We have categorized this asteroid as a planet killer and over 85 percent of mass is supposed to survive the initial atmospheric entry which will annihilate any life on the planet. The planets main composition is that of common nitrogen, oxygen along with some refined metals and gases which suggests that the planet is populated with a primitive civilization. The planet due to its closeness to the blue giant is bombarded with countless charged particles which translates into a continous atmospheric lights which can be seen here. P.S. I appreciate any comments and tips.

I really love it when a story accompanies the image. It tickles my imagination. Wonderful work you've done.

nice sense of scale, the ice rock to the right is a bit too bright or too into the picture (perhaps only part of it should have been visible) and lures the eye away from the main attraction, the planet
