Description

UF3.04:tma2.ufm;kcc3.ucl>PS7 text, border and opt. Thank you for the hits and comments on Solstice! So here begins Winter! This is a specimen snowflake from Jupiter, where the flakes have 8 points as opposed to 5...although I just received a Christmas card where the artist designed flakes with 6 points!...so anthing goes these days! Woodstock Jams is on break this week so I will pick up with the wallpaper next week. Have a frosty the snowman kinda day! Chris

Very elegant. I wish these fell where I live but, alas, I seldom ever see snow and I miss that (eXcept when I had to drive in it).

to me it looks like the braided vinyl strips used to create elaborate designs as you have done, except yours is much better and beautiful!!!!

when I saw the thumbnail I thought it would be tatted lace with seedpearls, but yes, I see woven ribbons - great colours happy for a snowflake

lol, when I saw the title I had visions of a Mutant Ninja Turtle throwing a snowflake/star at the enemy! q-: Although this is a fantastic, metallic-looking snowflake, in lovely colors I might add, the tips aren't pointed enough to hurt anything! Wonderful work! V (:

This is what you get when methane snows form under the impact of Jupiter's high gravity field: altered symmetry of great beauty and complexity with wonderful metallic coloring! Lovely kaleido work, Chris - Happy Holidays! (P.S. Terran snow flakes generally have hexagonal symmetry if my memory serves me)
