Description
On the Northern hemisphere the days have been shortening every day till now. The days before Christmas bookmark a time of hope. Hope of a good new year..hope of.. well, there is so much you can hope of..Anyway, in terms of photography it is a sign of hope for better wheater.
This photograph is the second one in a series of two. It expresses (I hope) the feeling of sadness that sometimes comes to your mind in the dark and often gloomy days of December.

I remember the first one... this is as beautiful. But I don't really see sadness, I see tenderness walking down a peaceful, quiet lane... it isn't the surroundings that make them, it is they that complete the surroundings.

I found there is so much to explore amongst the trees in Winter...each season has its own joys but Winter does have it extremes ...lovely shot btw :)

It's chilly, a little misty, but we love the walk anyway. I like the wide view, and your comments; perhaps the sadness is because so many of the days are gloomy, and so short.
