Description

Okay, to start, this is a Birthday/Christmas Present for one of my really good friends, atom80. Little early, but I wanted to get this up for him. Happy birthday my friend and I hope your holidays are wonderful. (Atom, You'll be getting a big version of it too when we get back from break.) :D This is entirely painted in Painter 8. (Just some lighting enhancements in photoshop) My first ever "completed" work in that program. It took me forever, and I don't think I understand it very well, but I liked how this one turned out. And I'm very glad it was his that turned out so well, as atom80 has very much pushed me to keep working on my 2d work. Well I have a week off work WOO HOO! I'll be around a lot more, and probably posting quite a bit during my time off, then of course once back to work my posting will slow back down. Hope I don't overload everyone with pictures ;) Thank you for taking the time to stop by, and any comments and especially tips on Painter would be very much appreciated! I used a picture I liked in a fashion catalog as a ref for this, trying to tape it to my monitor on the side was funny... I need one of those little clip boards! :) Hugs!

Fantastic portrait. We're so used to see 3D images that quite have forgot that some people can paint... although I wonder how it's done. 8-) I don't mind for a big version but I want to know her real version.8-) Excellent. Well, at least you didn't have to wait hours for the image to render. 8-) Merry Xmas.
