Description
This image began with the background from Gilles Nadeau's "cube_nocturne" fractal which utilizes his new formula "Slope Gnarly" in gnd.ufm. I changed the gradient and then began to choose different Gnarl functions. I discovered all these wild and different shapes and used them to build this image within UF. Posted here with permission from Gilles, with many thanks to him for a wonderful and exciting formula! :)
I would also like to thank Rykk (Rick Spix) for sharing his fabulous masking tutorial which helped so much in creating this collage! Hugs to you, Rick!! ;)
And so many thanks to all of you guys (and gals).... you make this *fractal cruise* so much fun!!
I'm listening to O Holy Night... it was taped last Christmas in a small cathedral here in Niagara-on-the-Lake. A baritone and a soprano, in perfect pitch and harmony, take this favourite song of mine and deliver it in a style that literally takes my breath away and brings tears to my eyes.... each and every time. I wish I could share it with all of you!
Postwork consists only of sig and slight sharpening in PSP7. Thank you all so much for having a peek and for the awesome comments you have left under my previous works!! :) Helen

I see a perched parrot and a group of slim candles dressed in rich holiday garb..with a conductor on top (I mean he's leading the music..and he looks like a biblical figure). Whoa! This is one of the most awesome images I've seen. Beautiful and just outstanding, Helen. A very merry Christmas to you, my friend!

super job and that song is one of my best too [I think I read he sent 5 minutes on it as a fill kin on a show he was doing for Christmas the other songs he send days on what are they I do not know but "O Holy Night" I know] lol
