Beautiful.........beautiful. Love the lighting on this plus the color.

actually I don't like the center of the flower. You should probably add some stamina or adjust petal shapes at the center (shift the tips down a bit)
Crossblade
Love the shader type, which is that anyway? The centre needs some stem things....em..stamina like CWeed said. The leaf meshes could probably do with displacement mapping, or a little mesh editing to give a more convincing 3d look, as the shadow that falls on them makes them look kinda flat. An in all, great work.

This is coming along very nicely. I anticipate the completed project.

Very nice job. I would suggest making the edges of the leaves a bit more jagged, no flower I've seen has perfectly smoothed edges like that. Great Work =DBZ=

I agree with DBZ it shouldn't be so perfect around the edges- but overall an excellent job!!!

very nice indeed, I'm actually working on a rose right now that I'll be putting up when I am done. It was sort of inspired by your work and one of the earlier flowers that I saw. I love the simplicity(sp) of the petals and leaves despite what the others say. The only thing bothering me about this image is the white in the leaves. I think the white needs to follow the grains in the leaf. Maybe that's the way the flower leaf is suppoed to be though, just my opinion. Still love it, keep it up!

I think that the petals need some texture moving out from where the petals connect to the stem to the edge of the petals. Something showing that the petals aren't just blobs, but grew out in a specific direction. Maybe some folds closer to the center of the flower, smoothing out as they approach the edge of the petal.
