Description
The landscape was modelled after an oilpainting called "Waldviertel" by Ilse Urschler. The scene was much to empty for my more baroque approach, so I added the female, the castle, trees (lots of them) and birds.
Not quite happy with the play of light and shade in the ferns, also the hair is not quite what I want to achieve (GraceLionHair is excellent, but still...), so I need some tipps and tricks how and what to improve!
Combination of poser and vue, with some light postwork (mostly blurring here and there). The sunlight reflexes on the body and the trees where achieved by placing some additional spotlights directly behind and switching shadows off.
Feel free to criticise!

I love it! It's a really good work. Imho, a darker tone on the left side of the image (opposite of Sun) would add a little more atmosphere. Anyway, nicely done.

She looks like someone you don't want to piss off, but this is a lovely image, and the peacefulness of her surroundings contrasts nicely with her no-nonsense attitude :)

Beautiful scene and great composition. I think you did a fantastic job of combining the Pose and Vue elements together. I use the two programs, as well, and have encountered the same problems with lighting some plants. I usually just place some very soft spot lights where I need just a little light and adjust the spread to minimal just to highlight them. It adds to render time a bit, but it depends how much it bothers you. Also, you can lighten up some dark spots with Photoshop ( or what have you) to save from those long Vue render times. Otherwise, I think you did a terrific job on this scene, and I can appreciate all the time spent. Excellent work!

I love the lighting myself. The hair can be fixed if you are using poser 5 by turning off the texture filter in ray trace render. Excellent composition!
