Doug Sturk has been drawing as long as he can remember: on walls, floors table tops. As an only child growing up in the Midwest, he learned to use his imagination and be creative. Encouraged by his mother, a graphic artist, he honed his skills and excelled in art. He claims to have preferred markers and regular scissors over crayons and safety scissors in Kindergarten. Eventually Doug put away his easel and paints trading up for his first copy of Poser... he's never looked back.
BIO
Doug continued to create as much as possible: award-winning 3-D artwork, landscape photography, Web design and writing. With his work at the former 3D Comic Collective (eventually www.animotions.com) he became well known for his comic book style of artwork. Doug's notoriety increased as he became the Web artist of "Shirtless Girl" on the nationally syndicated "Bob & Tom" radio show (www.bobandtom.com).
From Bob & Tom - Doug went on to work for various adult erotic story sites... just ask.

Well, to do a prog impression you have left out other things. For example, prog's girls are a bit more 'grown up' in certain parts. 8-) Excellent atmosphere and lighting. Wonderful characters, poses and expressions. Not a prog but very good. Vote.

Eeeep! Run, little girl, run! That's one big bad wolf there! :o) If only children's stories were illustrated like this... I would go back to revisiting these classics in a heartbeat. :o)

I like the blue lighting on the top of the wolf: very moody. Both characters' poses look natural, especially the girl's. The grass fits in congruently with the rest of the scene. Overall nice composition - very dramatic. However, I feel the lighting and shadows on the girl (especially her upper part) are incongruent with that of the rest of the scene. Also, the mist seems to magically part near the centre of the scene, and stops abruptly when it meets the upper part of the image. Would a more gradual dissipation of the mist from bottom to top look better? Keep up the good work!

Amazing artwork!!!

Ha, I like the "forgot to add the nudity" bit. Quirky!

The classic "Oh Sh@t" moment! Nicely done!

Wow, you really pulled this off. This type of scene is damned hard to do because too much shadow and you lose the monster, too little and its just another pose. You balanced this extremely well Sturk. The size of the Werewolf and POV makes the threat even greater in size. Man is she gonna be surprised!
