Reminds me of the time I bought my Yellow-nape Amazon a $30 ladder. Hung it in his cage, answered the phone and came back just in time to see him finish splitting it in two. He had chewed through every single dowel holding it together in a matter of minutes! Photo captures the intensity of concentration that these birds exhibit. Beautiful.
