Description

Jem'Dragar ---------- Created: December 2002 Created with: * POSER 4.03 (dragon posed and scene composed in) * Rendered in BRYCE 5 No post-production on image other than credits. ================================ I'm still in two minds about posting this up because it wasn't until after I'd completed this project that I noticed I'd goofed on a couple of sections of texture scaling. :-\ Anyway, here it is. Created in December 2002 it's one of a couple of versions that I did of this scene. (I might post up the other one as well on another day.) I still like this one though for it's dramatic look. ;-) The Dragon was posed in a rough 'stand-in' scene that I mocked up in POSER, then in BRYCE I created the actual scenery to replace the stand-in's. Why is it called "Jem Dragar" I don't hear you saying? Because of the way the various horns are coming our of the creature it reminded me of the Jem Hadar alien race from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. -- So since this thing's a dragon then it's a Jem Dragar.....geddit? :-) Z. ================================================================ CREDITS: -------- * Millenium Dragon (LE version) by DAZ. (was free for one week only long ago) FREEBIES CREDITS: ----------------- * Most of the dragon's MAT's are from (or derived from): Astride's Fantasy Mats pack 1 for Bryce 5 Astride, aka Pierre Milko -BRYCE- (some tweaked by ZOT a lot for his own use here for this pic) * White MAT Pose for DAZ Millenium Dragon by: Gwydion Stone (Hiram) -POSER- * Wall and floor MAT's by Malligar. -BRYCE- * background architectural structure by: PerfectOne -BRYCE object- * Sky by Skygirl -BRYCE- ============================================

Nice work on pose and camera, particularly the use of focal length to get the size of the creature across. Simple and dramatic -- the texture stretch hardly shows.
