Description
This is a photoslide converted to a digital photograph.
It was December 1987 and we went for a short vacation to the Eifel in Western-Germany. One of the highlights of the area is de river Mosel and its embankments. Cochem is one of the beautiful, though very touristic cities, here. We liked to go there but it appeared to be very cold and foggy there. Nevertheless we walked through the city with it's gorgeous castle on a mountain. There I made this picture, although the castle was hardly visible. Still I think it is enough to show the beauty of this place.

Sounds as if you are almost apologizing! ;-D What happened was that the 'standard tourist photo Number 5' became a real work of art! This is superb! I suspect you already know this because of the choice of framing. It looks like an old painting. Ausgezeichtnicht, amigo. ;-)

how could I miss this? good ols germany! here captured like out of germans fairy tale book! and also like an old painting! a dreamy and magic view! only missing the "Lorelei", the blond maiden irritating the sailers of the ships and they crashed against the rocks! guess you had a feeling in all this fog like I had in Scotland! ;o)))
