Here is St. Francis sculpture in His convent which belong to the church of "Our Lady of health"! (Split - Croatia November 2004.).

super shot. I heard he came to a town where a wild wolf was killing people and eating them. St. Francis heared the town people tell him he went off to find the wolf and when he did he just talk to him and told him it was a bad thing he did and to stop the killing now. The wolf walk back to town with St.Francis and St.Francis told the town people "the wolf will kill no more but will protect the town you just have to feed him." The town people did that and all was happy.
