those characters are awesome. Just some ideas to improve: You have all people talking on the phone: let some of them dial or send a SMS or else - but this is a matter of taste, because now the similarity focuses the watcher very tightly to the mobiles... Firsthand you used some kind of velocity blurr. Something is confusing the eye: you have several people going in different directions (having different speed) but they have the same blurr-factor. The sitting boy is unblurred but the background is blurred (but both have the same speed...) On the other hand: you achieved a very good looking "handpainted" feeling, so I think the velocity blurring especially on the cat does not fit this style. I would try to dissolve the cat into a line-drawing (some crosshatched lines or else) to strengthen the illusion that it's an (unfinished) drawing. On the gripping hand: You produced a stunning image. I wouldn't change it all any more...

My only comment would be to do the people in the same style as the background. Other than that, it's very well done as always.

I would but in some swords and exploding elephants! LOL!! Seriously, I think it's just fantastic!!! The expressions are really wonderful, and the poses are so natural. I think I'm the only person left on the planet that doesn't have a cell phone, and I have no desire to ever have one!! LOL!! This is really excellent work!! VOTE!

I take this as a comment on the fact no one notices where they are and no one is talking face-to-face. For my part the cat is too big, but the overall effect is outstanding. I would not agree with Kellermeister about a variety of phone use - that seriously changes the image into an ad. Love the concept and image, bravo.

i really hate cell phones. not only are people not watching their driving ( almost got hit 2 times) but i have to hear some of the most inane conversations. sigh. great picture though :) love how you did the texturing. looks like a real painting. :)

I really love the way you added a sense of movement to this. Perfectly done I think. It shows how rushed people can be and how off in their own little world people are a lot. Very cool idea!

In a first time I didnt like it, it seems to me a novice's work. But yes, after a moment I have to admit that it is just a fantastic work. It has a naive outlook that gives to the situation a surrealistic and patetic atmosphere: the same I have seen in two persons meeting each other and saying: "have you received my wishes message?!". And your work is way expressive. Congrats. Sorry for my english, I hope it is clear. One kiss, Diego. :o)
