Description
It's been a long drought in Arizona. Looking with sadness at the dry terrain of our beloved mountains, we look to the heavens and see the clouds gathering. With hope in our hearts, we pray they will bring us the much needed rain....
Thank you for your comments and critigues under my submissions of this past week. I hope your holidays have brought you much happiness.

Yep! I used to see these mountains everyday till I moved up North! This is exactly the right color and look! Bravo Ruthee, another great image! :)

Nice scene with good terrain, but your clouds are suffering from a touch of TCS (Terragen Cone Syndrome), bringing the setting of your 3d clouds down to a Depth/Thickness of 2 or 3 may help.

Excellent use of light and shadows. Very nice flat-bottom clouds. Rains a-coming. You get a big V for the lighting and shadows.
