Description

We create an illusion of structure that gives us a sense of security. However, reality sets in, that we control nothing. The recent tragedy in South East Asia inspired this fractal, made with GIMP.

Very intresting. however, this fractal made me think of another disaster - the one of september 11th. The shapes in your fractal remind me of a skyscraper, or is it the tower of Babylon? indeed illusions...

Yes amanda, the fractal represents all the structures we build to give us a sense of power and security. These structures also imprison us. The tragedy in S.E.A. only goes to prove where the only real, true power really lies.

What a message and what a picture, something to think about! .. I love the apparent simplicity in your works, but looking closer it holds so much more. Thanks for sharing! Exlt work
