Hi. I haven't submitted for a while, but I am still around and do expect plenty from me in the near future :).
This is an oldy that many of you may even recognise but I had never uploaded it.
This image started out with three tree-men and a couple of cows. The scene had over 700 trees. E-on Software asked to use the image for the cover art of Vue 5 Esprit. This is the result.
This final image only has the single treeman but more detail with the inclusion of the building modelled by Alain Gracia and the lake. The original Overgrowth image was constructed in Vue 4 Professional. This final image was then added to and rendered in Vue 5 Esprit. There is no post work.

I recognized it at e-on's website "image of the day" and the cover and start up image of Vue5!!!.....Good that they used your work in this fashion, says a great deal about the company and your skills...I really love the render and the originality in your designs...CONGRATS!!...and....GREAT JOB!!

i see this image everyday while reading my vue-5 manual lol....its a total classic...the scale is just amazing i could sit and talk about this image all day lol....but 700 tree's your pc system must be HUGE...i'm running on one gig of ram with a amd 1.80 ghz processor...if you can find the time to tell me what kinda processor you are using and how much ram you use to create so many tree's without a huge lag...pls send me a message v

I am so hapy to finally see this image up close and big so we can see all the marvelous details in it, Scott! Love it! The veggies, terrain, the house and details of the pilings with the little gulls and pelican. I never noticed them before as well as the lamp and mist and the clouds are beautiful too. Just amazing! v
