Hi,
My name is Connie and I'm from Tenn. I have been working at learning computer graphics and art off and on for years. I love doing it and find it to be my stress reliever along with playing guitar, which is my other favorite past-time in life.
I am so glad I'm able to learn from all the great talent Renderosity has.
My favorite genres are Nature/Lanscape, Animals and Creatures.

Lovely composition and color!

beautiful contrast between the dimensional fluidity of the water and the flat graphic character of the mountains. IMHO it would be much stronger visually if you removed all the birds except the partial bluebird on the right hand side. As it is now, instead of being able to sink into the calmly expansive feeling of the moment, there is all this frenetic energy, and the eye doesn't know where to look, or what's important. A single bird about to land and become part of this special view adds more than enough anticipation that the moment is about to become even more exciting.

I see fuaho's point, but 'frenetic activity' may be what you had in mind. Tho the eagle isn't needed at all as you already have the sun in that area for a focal point. Something on the dock (few more birds?) to pull the eye further into the landscape perhaps?

Excellent render. I like the way you used your textures. Atmos is very nice.
