I'm sitting her sobbing. can't hold back the tears. shivers....all my close friends and my husband are from the ex-Yugoslavia...different cities. although I'm American and not from this war-torn place, i can tell you that war there has affected my life in ways you just can't imagine. I'm surrounded by people from all parts of the ex-Yugoslavia, and i related to not only their pain and questions, but also the pain you've captured here. I feel a knife in my belly...you captured their question and pain. we need to see this. we need to see how important peace is...and also how devastating the effects of war can be. Thank you SO much for this. vote and into favs!

thank you all, this photo I made on the street on dec.2004. Unfortunately, the quality is not the best side of dig.camera I have (HP945) especially for the street life shots, so I know the focus is not so good, but the idea is clear, I hope... good luck and best wishes to all (b) mirko, Belgrade, 08.jan.2005.
