Description

Ok, ok, no doggin the hair, I'm not real pleased with it either. I got my new Poser 5 today, boy is it really a lot different, it's going to take me a while to figure everything out. Anyway this is my first render in it. Any tips out there on P5 speak now.... or sit back and laugh while I trip through it and in 5 years figure out your tip.

Well, I can't imagine anyone dogging on this hair-I really think it looks fantastic!!! I love the way it curls around her chin!! Beautiful detail!!! No tips from me on Poser 5-I'm a primitive guy using Poser 4, but IVe seen some absolutely incredible P5 renders, and I think this one looks wonderful!! It has a warm look to it, and the detail on the eyes is fantastic!!!! EXCELLENT work!!!

Great job! The sharpnes and clarity are way cool in this render. It fooled me I wouldn't have thought it your first time out with version 5. Have you tried playing with real images... face photos yet? Wait till you get a load of that realness. Good to see you are enjoying the application I love messing with it when I do. Fell out of my chair laughing a lot of times playing with Poser I'll say that since version 3.

Seems like you did a great job on this render. I like the POV and the skin a lot. There are a lot of good tutorials for poser 5 right here in the tutorial section.

Fantastic render for sure! I use Poser 5 and I'm still trying to figure it out, as well. It's deep, and sometimes very annoying, but as you've shown here...the results can be quite amazing. The lighting on her texture looks soo nice. Keep plugging away on it and see what happens, I'm new to it also and I learn something new every day. Excellent work on this image!!

Absolutely lovely hair. The /only/ thing it needs is a bit more of a defined 'hairline' along the forehead area. Her eyes are gorgeous. My only tip for p5? Never try navigating by clicking the little arrow button in the libraries tool. If you have a lot of library folders, Poser WILL slow down significantly, or even freeze up.

Its a lovely render and I think you did a great job. Im still in the dark ages with 4 myself, but I've seen some beautiful work done on 5. It seems to render a lot better and clearer than 4. You are off to a great start. :)

your first P5 render?? woow! your lights and the way you managed the focal distance of the camera to give this particular POV is just impressive! i was born with P5 so i dont know P4 at all, so, if you dont mention that this is your first P5 render anyway i would see a magnific work here (hair included!) Excellent done! Congrats!
