Description
I thought I'd do something a little different today.
I work for a Cable/Satellite TV equipment manufacturer and distributor. Being in charge of advertising, I get to see all the neat equipment used by that industry.
Here is a not so great product shot of a 1GHz 8 Way Outdoor Multitap. To be more specific, the insides of one. In the USA, you may see them on telephone poles or not see them inside those little green equipment boxes. I know I was always curious as to what was in them or what they did exactly. This little piece of equipment is used to break up the television signal from the main coaxial cable line and distribute it to separate homes, apartments, whatever. :)
I'm hoping to get some equipment at work so that I can properly do so product photography and post more of it in the future.

Its been years since I looked at any electronic circuit boards. Todays technology is above and beyond. Great capture. Aloha

)... and this is old tech too. There are more modern versions, but this still does the job well. By the way, the blurs are there for privacy and business reasons. :) ...(

A very old tech, indeed! Analogic signals, this reminds me my previous job... Have you noticed how the way the components are arranged makes them look like insects! (ps: good thing you came in my pages today. It made me discover your work! ;-) Nice shot, good idea, original post!

well you put the right jack in and you take the left jack out, and then you shake it all about. very clear and in focus, interesting to me because I like electronics. don't know anything but I like them. I use to work on electronic money controllers. the only problem , I never could get them to give money to me
